Absolutely 100% spot on correct about haughey, he was the head of the “haughfia crime syndicate” which raped the honest tax paying and trusting citizens of this country for the benefit of him and his family and mates, fuck every body else. one more point about the prick is that of course he built a marina in dingle, so that he could park his crooked yacht there when he was going back and forth from his crooked island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i believe that ireland as a result of this fucking robber is a very unpatriotic country. why should a working class boy growing up be honest and pay his taxes and be part of the working society, when he can just join fianna fail and live like a mafia godfather or a british landlord!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Superb writing. Got the recommendation to come over here from another great writer at ultimatedisposal.com. Yeah Haughey was a right so and so, Artane Industrial School was part of his constituency and he never visited it even once - though his mate Brian Lenihan did, and his words on seeing this place were “Get me the fuck outta here”!

I don’t know who could’ve given you grief about your Haughey post - sure you were only telling the truth. Probably some “leave the dead rest in peace” people? I have no time for that. Bad people are bad people. I nearly got sick to read extracts of Bertie’s eulogy on Charlie - and he doesn’t regret it????? “The most devious of them all”………. how in the name of Hell do we put up with the crap we put up with??!!
My grandfather and father both had to emigrate for work. My siblings and I all experienced the dole in the 80s, and 4/5 of us had to emigrate for work. I named my children ‘plain’ names (born 80s and 90s) so that they could be pronounced ok in the UK and US where I was sure they would have to go for work. Haughey did us, and the current lot are keeping up the tradition!
