This was the guy who walked out of court with a suspended sentence, causing uproar in the country and widespread condemnation of the judge’s decision.
Well guess what? After he was set free, Adam Keane, the rapist, in a gesture of contempt, flicked a cigarette-end at his victim.
And for that, the judge today ruled that he had breached the terms of his suspension, and now he finds himself in jail, the filthy rapist.

Kinda good result but hardly worth celebrating, thirty years would have been more appropriate for this horrific crime he inflicted on Mary who has to live with this for the rest of her life.
I’m still dumbstruck by this judges attitude, comes across he has more sympathy for the rapist than the he has for the brave Mary.
The nice people at RTE show a photo of brave Mary for this news story, I would have thought the rapist’s photo would have been more appropriate. A Google Image search for “Adam Keane Clare rapist” brings up a picture not of this vermin Keane but yes, you guessed it - Mary
In no way am I a religous woman but if there were a Jesus, he’d be weeping right now!
Lets hope a lot of the back door boys give Keane a lovely reception on his arrival - and then on a daily basis for the next three years.

are the judiciary in this country infallible ? could ms.shannon not appeal to some higher court ? eu court of human right ? what the fuck must other countries be thinking when they see a convicted rapist get convicted (i.e. guilty of the crime) and then not punished any further.

Did you know that Adam Keane is a rapist? Just thought I’d mention it. I remember him, the rapist, very well, from your previous reports about this rapist who goes about raping people.
Now it seems he is also a smoker, which in some people’s eyes is worse than being a rapist.

Hmm, reminds me of the Taborsky case in Florida.
While working as a menial assistant in a college lab, this guy came up with a brilliant and lucrative idea about ammonia extraction, in his own time.
He took out a patent and, since he had been an employee, the college naturally put him in jail for three years for ‘intellectual theft’.

Now there’s a real criminal eh. Rapists? Sure there’s no money in that game–who cares.
I wonder if Adam Keane (the rapist fellow) had had a go at someone else, say Celia Ahern maybe, what the story would be?
