Let us consider some of excellent soundbites John Smeaton gave us. Much better than the politicians:

John also did an interview on CNN and they asked how he restrained the guy and he said ….

“Me and other folk were just tryin tae get the boot in and some other guy banjoed him” !

Nora: You’re probably right there. The burning guy wasn’t a doctor, which is a pity because it would make a great source of tasteless jokes. And you’re also right to point out that they’ve only been arrested. They’re lucky the cops didn’t arrest them by putting seven bullets in their head like they did with deMenezes.

Hang on, I don’t think the burning guy was a doctor, was he? I thought the two doctors were picked up by the cops in a car on the M6 or 26 or 36 or somewhere.
But mainly, can I just say “innocent until proven guilty” cos Sky News hardly ever bother to mention this. In general, you know, not just in this case. They convict everyone as soon as they’re questioned.
Apart from the McCanns, that is.
