National Digout Day Update

The guys at Digout Day have a suggestion.
As you know, Bertie Ahern, in defending his enormous pay-rise, remarked that other world leaders don’t have to pay for so much as a cup of tea.
So the idea is this: send Bertie a tea-bag.

If 38,000 of us could do this, Bertie would have a tea-bag for every Euro of his pay-rise.

Zippy idea! I’m gonna do it. I’m not even an Irisher but I want mine to be the most far-flung tea-bag.
Now there’s a notion. Tea-bags from America.
Surely Bertie doesn’t use tea-bags. I think I’ll send him some loose tea so that he can brew it properly as would be befitting to a man of his stature!
I suppose that would have to be left to your own discretion. You might even want to wet it before sending it.
