Thabo Mbeki in Zimbabwe

Apr 13th, 2008 | By Bock | Category: Politics, World

The President of the Republic of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki, is an immensely courageous, intellectual and influential figure in Africa.  He’s a tremendously powerful and compelling man.  Yet Thabo Mbeki believes that HIV doesn’t cause  AIDS.  He thinks AIDS is caused by poverty.

Thabo Mbeki is demented.

What happens when such a man goes to Zimbabwe?

He reports that there’s no crisis in Zimbabwe.

Are you surprised?  I’m not.

  1. Daft. But worse are the sick bastards that put it about that having sex with a virgin cures AIDS. My friend was working with Camara and travelled to Africa on several occasions to bring computers to schools and encountered a poor little lass who had contracted HIV because some AIDS ridden gimp paid her family for that cure. Fucking despicable ignorance.

  2. And they wonder why there are a record number of cases of very young girls, and in some cases infants, with HIV infections. How stupid can you get? Better still are the rantings of his neighbors, who also think and say things like “don’t get polio shots, they are the white mans way of sterilizing the black nation” or “don’t use condoms, they contain chemical agents that will sterilize you”.

I do not understand such ignorance. Therefore, I must conclude it is deliberate and that they WANT their people to die. WTF?
