Bock Stats
Jul 4th, 2008 | By Bock | Category: internetInspired by Mulley’s revelation that his unique visitors had hit the million mark, I decided to have a look at my own StatCounter figures. Bocktherobber.com is a little over a year old. In May last year, I abandoned the old blogspot address and set up my own domain name, so I had a look at the stats for the last twelve months and this is what they show.
I think StatCounter underestimates a site’s true traffic, but I use it as an indicator of how things are going, and the figures for this place seem to be going in the right direction.
It just goes to prove there’s a lot of very tolerant readers out there. How do you put up with this shit?
Or a lot of people who like to read bollox by belligerent truth seekers.
Statcounter doesn’t track from readers as I understand it so the number would be under reported, though there are a good few people out there who don’t like cookies so they should show up as newbies even though they may be repeaters so that would overstate uniquees. It might all balance out, who knows! And the less said about shifting IP addresses for some folks the better.

Thought the peak would have occurred around the sudden upsurge of hits from the Middle East for the much celebrated “GayHorseSexFuckHorse” thread.
And I notice the price of oil has doubled since then, obviously the fuckers don’t seem to have done a tap of work since logging on here to investigate.
Hoof you could have something there, Bock are you in league with the lads who’ve upped the price of fossil fuels? Is that your traffic chart or in fact the price of oil!
