The Secret Life Of Radovan Karadzic In Pictures
Posted on Wednesday, July 23, 2008Here’s kindly old Dragan Dabic, alternative medicine healer.

He used to be Dr Radovan Karadzic, mass murderer and architect of genocide.
Isn’t it amazing how this …

… could become this?

Here he is in his clinic, and his website is HERE if you’d like to drop in and have a look around. It mightn’t be up for long more.
here’s what the site says about the nice old guy:
Dr. Dragan “David” Dabic was born some six decades ago in a small Serbian village of Kovaci, near Kraljevo. As a young boy he liked to explore nearby forests and mountains, spending a lot of time on Kopaonik mountain where he tended to pick the omnipresent, natural and potent medicinal herbs that grew at those green pastures. As a young man he moved to Belgrade, and then on to Moscow where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree (spec. in Psychiatry) at the Moscow State University (Lomonosov). After Russia, Dr. Dabic travelled around India and Japan, after which he settled in China where he specialized in alternative medicine, with a special emphasis on the mind-body control, meditation, Yoga, spiritual cleansing, as well as Chinese herbs. In mid-1990s Dr. Dabic returned back to mother Serbia for good, and ever since then emerged as one of the most prominent experts in the field of alternative medicine, bioenergy, and macrobiotic diet in the whole of the Balkans, and is frequent contributor to the regional alternative health magazines, and guest expert with numerous TV appearances and on many public forums, seminars and symposiums (Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pancevo, Sombor, Smederevo, Kikinda…) dedicated to these issues and topics.
Dr. Dragan Dabic currently resides on Yury Gagarin street in New Belgrade, but for public forum invitations, television appearances or private consultations he can be reached directly at the following contact:

Generous as ever, Radovan, the mass murderer, shares his favourite Chinese proverbs with us:
10 favorite ancient Chinese proverbs as selected personally by Dr. Dabic:
- Behind every able man, there are always other able men.
- Teacher opens the door, but you must enter by yourself.
- A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows the public opinion.
- He who cannot agree with his enemies is controlled by them.
- If your strength is small, don’t carry heavy burdens. If your words are worthless, don’t give advice.
- A diamond with a flaw is better than a common stone that is perfect.
- Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.
- If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.
- You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair.
- The one who gives up his own, should dig two graves.

I sent him an encouraging email and I’ll bring you his reply if he writes back. Here’s what I said:
Dear Doctor Dabic
I was sorry to hear about your bad luck, and I hope you can escape quickly to continue your work of healing.
Be in good spirits and look after yourself. Make sure to eat properly while you are in Holland! The Dutch food is not good and I know this because I was once poisoned by an uitsmeiter.
Best wishes and please write soon.
Bock

Genocide > herbal medicine

It makes the “can’t even find a guy that lives in a cave” argument look a bit facetious…
Adding to the chinese proverbs -Keep your broken arm inside your sleeve

What I don’t understand is when did he stop impersonating Father Ted and join the Dubliners?

Ronnie Karadzic.

I’m absolutely gutted! Dr Dabic had promised me that after his 4th healing session my piles would be completely gone. Does his capture now mean that they may well grow back?

My great-auntie goes to an holistic healer for her tinnitus “powders” and I’m pretty sure he’s Osama bin Laden.

July 24th, 2008

July 24th, 2008

July 24th, 2008
I think we all know where Serbia is on the map …. and it seems to be getting smaller!

You know what the look on his face says to me?
“Come here, little girl, let me rape you, hand you over to my men, let them rape you, then we’ll make you dig your own grave, and shoot you in the back of the head, and if you are really good we might toss some dirt on you before letting the dogs ravage your carcass”.
War Crimes Tribunal indeed. Far too good for a man who perpetrated such atrocity.

Obviously, I don’t like the man.
And Andrew made me snort.

What about an analysis of why they decided to pick him up now? The Serbian government obviously knew where he was and what he was at but choose now because it was good political timing for them. It’s about the EU, and adds another chapter to the Irish debate about the EU and where it is going.
July 24th, 2008
Well, clearly Boris Tadic’s arrival in power was a significant change in the political complexion of Serbia’s government.
I think it’s unlikely that Karadzic would ever have been handed over while Kostunica was prime minister or president, and before that, Milosevic was actively harbouring criminals from Bosnia. Interestingly, Tadic was defence minister under Kostunica, and you could probably lay a fairly safe bet that he knew exactly where Karadzic was.
Anyway, Karadzic is expendable. The big prize for Serbia is accession to the EU, and with the disastrous state of the economy, the hope of a better life will outweigh public objections except for a few hardliners.
The real test will be Mladic.
I can’t see them handing him over without getting a significant prize in return. They’ll face serious political and public opposition if they try to send Mladic to the Hague, and they’ll want to have something to show the Serbian people in return.
That prize could be a guarantee of territorial integrity. In other words, Kosovo’s status as part of Serbia copperfastened.
One other reason Tadic had Karadzic arrested could be because he’s a psychologist and he hates him on a professional level for being a fucking gobshite.

Jaysus! That’s service. Thanks Bock. We’ll see what the Uber Paddies think at a later date.
July 24th, 2008
You’re welcome. Instant opinions are my specialty.
Do I know these Uberpaddies?
July 25th, 2008
Course you do. They waken of a morning to the flutter of a tricolour and proceed to die a little each day for the cause. The cause? Narrow minded nationalism. Others waken to the rattle of rosary beads. The cause? Narrow minded Catholicism. And others rise to the rattle of the euro. The cause? Purse greed. We voted No to Lisbon for a combination of those three factors, all wrapped up in a veil of pretend ignorance of what the treaty is about. As Kris Kristofferson would say, ‘Don’t get me started.’
