Garden Party In The Rain

Aug 10th, 2008 | By Bock | Category: Home, My life

We set up a couple of gazebos and stoked a big brazier of coal.  Then we packed a cooler with iced beer, lit oil lamps and fired up the barbecue.  I set up two ancient speakers that filled the garden with music.  We all huddled in our little pavilion, with a bottle in one hand, a kebab in the other and a song on our tongues, watching the heavens open and the deluge falling all around our little island of merriment.

It was great.
