Irish Racists

Posted on Saturday, August 30, 2008

If this isn’t mindless racism and promotion of racial hatred, I don’t know what is.

I won’t give this prick the benefit of a link, so would you just cut and paste please.  See what you think.

In my opinion, this site is a really nasty piece of work.  What’s your view?

Bloody hell. That is some of the most unpleasant, racist shit I’ve read in a long time. Talk about flawed reasoning! It’s infantile. Some black people behaved badly in the aftermath of New Orleans, therefore all black people have the propensity to steal and rape and murder? My six year olds have better logical skills than that. But they don’t have the hate.

I’d have left a comment but I was gratified to see he hadn’t got any and I’m damned if I’m going to waste my time arguing with such a hateful character. There’s nothing to be gained there.

If you’ll pardon my frankness, this guy should just post a blog a day saying “I hate niggers” (feel free to edit that word if you wish) because it would actually be more honest than him trying to shoe-horn a few apocryphal stories into some sort of academic study of racial behaviour.

It’s one of the nastiest pieces of writing I’ve ever read. If this was in a newspaper I’m sure the writer and editor would face some kind of legal sanctions. One thing missing from it is those ‘reports’ of cannibalism - I suppose though that the ‘writer’ didn’t want to strain incredulity too much! But there definitely a job in Fox News for the ‘writer’

    - - - - - - - -

One report from a trusted source:

When the first convoy of national guardsmen went into New Orleans approached the convention centre they were ordered to “lock and load”. But when they arrived they were confronted not by armed mobs but a nurse wearing a T-shirt that read “I love New Orleans”.

It seems TinyUrl is off the interweb thing - but this site will create those small URLs no problem:

ncane is a Zulu word meaning “small”

Just back from reading a half dozen random posts from that wanker.Hard to believe. Hard core racism at it’s lowest.I am ashamed to be sharing a planet with the cunt.

Awful stuff. Makes me sick just to read it. Reminds me of Kevin Myer’s shite. I wanted to fisk the whole article but just was too disgusted. I settled for writing this. No wonder Ireland is getting a bad rep internationally.

Fair play to anyone who could get to the end of that post - I couldn’t…

And the ignorant racist fucker should learn how to spell-check….

What an idiot. Why would you create a blog site just to let everyone know what an idiotic fucking prick you are? Total waste of oxygen

I’m not even sure why you posted this address, Bock. This is the worst kind of bigotry, entrenched in its rightness. There will be no debate with this person or his cronies. We’re just giving him hits, and it really isn’t worth it.

Sweet Jesus ! I’ve come across racists in many parts of the world but this shithead beats them all.
Not only is he using scewed logic to fit his theories but underneath his prejudices is a hatred that is missing in most “normal” racism. It’s gratifying that nobody has graced him with a comment.

I think Bock is right to draw attention to this racist’s ravings, for the simple reason that by actually reading his hysterical, stereotyped, rumour-based “facts” (and where, precisely, did he obtain his information? Was he in New Orleans? Or was it from other crackpots on the net?) and the noxious conclusions he draws from them, that one can begin to deal with such swine, simply by pointing out the self-serving lies and inaccuracies on which their opinions are based. As Jeeves once said: “It is as well to know what tunes the devil is playing…”

    Nick —

I think it’s worth knowing what sort of gobshites are out there.

Well Bock, thanks for ruining my special day of happiness by dropping that turd in me swimming pool. Might I suggest to concerned readers that rather than waste time leaving comments (as I unfortunately did whilst the red mist was on me) they simply use the ‘Flag Blog as objectionable’ command at the top of the page and let Google sort it out. “No platform for racists!” as we used to shout in me Rock Against Racism days

  14. Bock
    August 30th, 2008

I was wondering that myself, Liam. Isn’t Blogger owned by Google, and do they have a policy on racism?

While most people would agree with the kinda stuff (i didnt read it all) in that blog the Kevin Myres article metioned above got me thinking.

Freedom of speech is what the internet is all about if u take that away whats left?

  16. Dan Sullivan
    August 30th, 2008

Odds are it makes it as a fluffy post by the end of the week! After all aren’t people supposed to be as Primal Scream said free to be what we wanna be, to do what we wanna do. Freedom to act without consequence is what the net appears to be all about for some folks.

Hey if wanna make a blog or website and say for ex. man utd suck, the goverment are useless and i dont like xyz i can and rightly so. If you dont like it thats your tough its “my” opinion that matters.

He seems to have 29 comments now. If you click on ‘Flag Blog’, these are the options you get from Blogger (you need to choose what you’re reporting under the TOS before you continue):

    Defamation/Libel/Slander (Learn more.)
    Copyright/Piracy issues
    Spam (Learn more.)
Adult or pornographic images (Learn more.)
    Hate or violence (Learn more.)
    Impersonation
I need to contact another user
Someone is posting my private information
I think someone else is using my account

I hestitate to suggest any form of censorship on the internet. There’s a lot of nasty stuff out there, but in the case of e.g. child porn, something can be done as it’s illegal. What this guy is doing isn’t, as far as I know. Nor, I think, is it against Google/Blogger’s TOS? Unless under “hate”.

His stuff sickened me. But if you read some of the comments on certain YouTube videos, the hatred and racism is appalling. And what’s scary is that the majority of them (as far as I know) are coming from teenagers.

Blogger does have a policy on racism but they only activate it when people flag the blog. Nora isn’t quite right, you can flag the blog and they will take a look at it and if it contravenes one of their policies it’s likely to be pulled. When it comes to racism that falls under the following rule “HATEFUL CONTENT: Users may not publish material that promotes hatred towards groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status and sexual orientation/gender identity”. But you have to flag it to get them to look at it so I would suggest you do put the link on and encourage folk to click the wee flag. I’m going to suggest that on ‘Where Angels Fear’ to the half dozen or so folk who continue to read it. It’s the only way we can rid the web of such shite

I was on the verge of rolling up my sleeves, diving in, and tearing that fucking cunt a new one but thought the better of it. There’s little or no point trying to get a debate going with vicious little pricks like this.

I’ve seen it all before. The initial reaction (from decent readers) is one of outrage and (completely understandable and necessary) name-calling. This gives the ass-wipe in question ammo to come back with a sniffy “You can’t argue against the points I raise so instead you resort to obscenities”. Subsequent attempts to try and pick apart the mental and terrifying “points” usually end in radio silence when the troll in question realises that he has no intelligent response.

You can’t get through to these cunts - believe me! They’re so twisted with bitterness, rage, absence of compassion and a pathetic sense of superiority that they are (to all intents and purposes) “lost to us”. And who cares? Let them stew in their own fetid juices and wank each other off.

It’s all rather sickening, I know, but even more than that it’s all very, very sad.

  22. Nora
    August 31st, 2008

I thought it might fit under “Hate or violence” but I hadn’t clicked on “(Learn more)”. If that guy fits, as ‘liamg’ says, I’m off to flag him now. And the more who do the merrier!

    Shatnersbasson —

I suspect there wouldn’t be much freedom of speech if that racist ever got control.

  24. shatnersbasson

I hope your not calling me racist but are referring to the blog you posted.

Im reminded of the Fr Ted Episode where the old man says to Fr. Ted “I hear your a racist no father, should we all be racists now.”

  25. Bock
    August 31st, 2008

Of course I’m talking about him. Why would I call you a racist?

  26. Dan Dare
    August 31st, 2008

Dear me, an Irish racist not confining himself to tinkers. Oh report him and ban him quickly.

  27. Nora
    August 31st, 2008

Irish travellers, or tinkers (from tinsmithing), are not a different ethnic group, they’re a different social group.

  28. Bock
    August 31st, 2008

    Dan –

When did tinkers become a race?

  29. dan dare
    August 31st, 2008

Well a race is a people who are believed to belong to the same genetic stock. But the point remains the same whether you classify them as a race or not. I was hoping someone would deconstruct the points made in the racist blog about hurricane Katrina but the debate doesn’t go there. On a related matter I went to check out the reaction from Saorla to Kevin Myers article and discovered that its now un-PC to say someone has AIDS and everyone is to say someone living with the HIV virus. I’m beginning to feel really old. I’m off to my cave where I will sit and debate the pros and cons on my own and in my own language.

  30. Bock
    August 31st, 2008

Dan — As you know, I don’t do PC. We had a debate on that very subject here not so long ago.

There’s no point deconstructing the racist fool’s post: that would be allowing him to set the ground-rules.

The difference with tinkers is that they’re part of us, though their genetic stock might be more confined due to high rates of intermarriage. Most of them, as far as I can see, couldn’t give a flying fuck about the society around them.

  31. King's Bard
    August 31st, 2008

The tinkers are the only group I know of who actually want to remain separate but expect the very people they disdain to support them in their alternate lifestyle.

  32. dan dare
    August 31st, 2008

But Bock I see that as the same point, its labelling most of a group/race with certain characteristics, be they positive to other groups and wider society or be they negative. Whether these characteristics are from nature, nurture or a combination of both is another debate. In other words do most tinkers (in Ireland) or most low income blacks (in New Orleans) give a flying fuck about the society around them?

I don’t know what you mean about ground rules. Either your point of view or his bears scrutiny or it doesn’t. I would just like to see an informed debate and don’t see why it appears to be such a taboo subject. I have been the recipient of ‘racist’ comments but I’m strong enough in my own mind to place them where they belong. I have my own view of races, formed mainly through my own experiences, but would never think this view was written in stone.

  33. Bock
    September 1st, 2008

I don’t know anything about low-income blacks. I do know about the rich tinkers from England who came on their holidays and took over the car-park in Kilkee, blocking the slipway so that the Shannon rescue service couldn’t launch their boat.

Therse were not poor people, and to me, a compliant citizen, that behaviour said Fuck You!

On the other point, if you want to debate with the racist, go right ahead. I’m not trying to stop you. Just be aware that you’ll be legitimising his agenda.

I had already read this fuck weeds article, and had a look ’round his blog. You should have a read of his post on Islam. He keeps refering to us(white europeans) as Nordics. Hitler did that. But anyway i just folled the link again to flag it as i hadn’t thought of it, and the page is gone so i suppose it’s thanks, in part to this post.
    I flagged his blog anyway.

    Little Nicky:
I was glad to hear this, but I fear the page is still there. I just read it again. (I wonder how many of us flagged it. I’m going to do it again.)
