You don't seem to understand one important fact: this is a privately-owned site, and I decide what direction it takes. That includes reacting strongly against attempts to shift any particular post off course, or to hijack a discussion. It also includes absolutely forbidding the use of a slur against my home town, even if intended in a joking way. It hurts my town, my family and me. I won't have it. The end.
