Jesus christ those pictures are very hard to take but they have to be shown, regardless of whose right or wrong what animal would inflict that on children or even adults. How can the worlds people sleep at night knowing that this sort of thing is going on unpunished. What can we do bock, as in sending aid and donations. If people want to know why people grow up to be radicalised need they look any further.
Can you imagine the size of the memorial needed to commemorate the Palestinians killed since January 2008.
Nobody is suggesting that Hamas is not perpetrating grave injustices on the civilians in the neighbouring areas of Israel but this is a matter of scale and the fact that the people of Gaza are imprisoned behind the wall and cannot escape. The defences erected at the Israeli schools would not be much use against the onslought of the last few weeks in Gaza.
Bock; It has been revealed that Israel is using an “experimental” weapon against the people of Gaza, its named DIME (Dense Inert Metal Explosives) details of this weaponry can be found on; http://futurenewstoday.blogspot.com/2009/01/israel-uses-experimental-genotoxic.html
Also.
Israeli Attorny General Menachem Mazuz stated “We are preparing for a wave of International lawsuits over the operation in Gaza”
System maybe you need to check your Law references again before you tell us yet again how “legal” this slaughter is.
Interesting piece by the great Kevin Myres on today’s Indo.
By Kevin Myers
Wednesday January 14 2009
On March 21, 1945, 18 RAF Mosquito aircraft bombed a school in Copenhagen, killing 86 children and 17 teachers.
There were, of course, no television pictures of this catastrophe, but you can imagine the magnificent propaganda they would have made for the Third Reich, with the accompanying text of how the brutal British had no compassion for the innocent young of Denmark.
It’s a fucking disgrace. Israel bomb Gaza with impunity with the generious funding of the world’s biggest military power and the rest of the world looks on and does nothing.
Olmert should be sent to join Radovan Karadzic in the dock at the Hague.
Bock, – What is the difference between copying and pasting an article on this site and
posting a link on this site. People are linking novels onto this site throughout this topic. The piece would have added greatly to this debate. But, well there you go.
Two things — the Myers piece was about an incident in WWII and as I said, we can discuss it another time if you wish. This topic is about Israel and Gaza.
Secondly, the comments section is for people’s own comments. I have no objection to links where people can read a piece in its original location, but I do not reproduce other people’s work in full on this site.
It’s another red herring. It’s an attempt by Myers to muddy the waters by introducing the religious dimension again and attempting to confuse the issue.
This isn’t about Israel fighting Hamas. This is about innocent civilians trapped behind an Israeli wall, who can’t escape the bombardment.
That’s a war crime no matter how threatened the Israelis feel.
Do you have cameras in my home, jacksnipe? Did you personally see my reaction?
”the systemworks did not even flinch”. That’s a bizarre talent you have there.
Here’s some things I have written about Arabs in a previous comment, which is an honest account of my opinions:
”…I love the mid-east, I love Arab muslim culture, from the food to the nargila! Too many Israelis and Palestinians have died before their time, and I think the two-state solution is the most realistic one to stop this. Look how easily one can travel between Israel, Jordan and Egypt. Countries once at each other’s throats. I want to be able to do the same between Israel and the West Bank/Gaza. I want to smoke nargila with the Palestinians in Hebron someday in security. I have always happened to like the Palestinians and Arabs in a social setting, Israel has accomplished so much in its short and troubled existence, I would love to see what more we could accomplish in peace. And I feel the Arabs under the PA can do the same too, they are self-respecting and highly decent people, with a lot of potential.”
That is an honest statement of my views. I have never openly displayed any prejudice or racism here, unlike your ‘boycott Jews’ comments.
People — I have already said many times that this is not about any individuals. Ad hominem argument gets us nowhere. This is about what’s happening in Gaza.
So please, everybody, stop questioning the other guy’s credibility. It’s stupid, it’s dishonest and I’m sick of it.
If anyone came here just to have a fight, they came to the wrong place. I want to deal with issues, not provide a forum for stupid pissing-contests.
If the issue was not boycotting, Bock, what was it? Why did you post the list of Israeli goods?
Jacksnipe, you spoke of boycotting Jews, not just Israelis. You said ‘the only way to hurt a Jew is in his pocket’ as well as decrying the fact Intel is a ‘Jew controlled/owned company’ and stating Jews kill more than they save despite the list of medical breakthroughs attributal to us. That’s ignorance on a danm high level.
(I guess this should have actually been put on the ‘Israeli goods’ page, sorry.)
System — I agree with you. Jacksnipe’s comments are about Jews, not Israelis, and that isn’t acceptable.
However, I still think you and he have a mindreading gift in common.
I made a post called Israeli Goods to see where it would go, and look: it’s already at 100 comments. It’s amazing the way people see what isn’t there. Despite the complete absence of the word Boycott, isn’t it interesting how lively the discussion has been?
Look through the site. You’ll find a number of posts of that kind.

It doesn’t matter what invisible man you might pray to,there’s absolutely no excuse for this shit and it’s gotta stop…now

System — I have no objection to prosecuting all those who commit war crimes. Do you?
Do you really believe that your pictures of Sderot are equivalent to what Gaza has experienced?
Can you imagine the size of the memorial needed to commemorate the Palestinians killed since January 2008.

etc etc …
If you want to express an opinion, please do so, but don’t quote the entire text of an article you found.
It’s a breach of copyright, and it’s also an attempt to shift the focus away from the topic at hand.
What the British did in WWII we can discuss another day if you like, but this is not the day for it.
This about what Israel is doing in Gaza.
It is not a breach of copyright once a piece is in the public domain.
It’s a fucking disgrace. Israel bomb Gaza with impunity with the generious funding of the world’s biggest military power and the rest of the world looks on and does nothing.
Olmert should be sent to join Radovan Karadzic in the dock at the Hague.
Abdul — Do not copy an entire article and post it here. How hard is that for you to understand?

The incident Myres refers to on today’s Irish Independent during WW2 is in direct relation to what is happening in Gaza today.
It’s another red herring. It’s an attempt by Myers to muddy the waters by introducing the religious dimension again and attempting to confuse the issue.

and posts a link i have not even bothered to click on
personally the photos made me sick to my stomach and my heart goes out to the families of these dead infants.
the systemworks did not even flinch
it shows the utter contempt he has for pallestinians, not just hamas.
unbelievable !!

i made the boycott Jews comment on the “Israeli Goods” article on this site.
and although bock states that boycott was never mentioned in the article, it was pretty clear that it was his intention.
i stand over it………i will boycott all products made in isreal or by companies which invest in isreal.
it is the same as sanctions which is a powerful weapon that can be utilized by anybody who feels strongly about an issue.
and when isreal atones, then i will cease my boycott.
so you see, i do not hate isreal, i just despise their current actions.
There’s one thing you have in common with System: you’re both mindreaders.
If the issue was not boycotting, Bock, what was it? Why did you post the list of Israeli goods?

Look through the site. You’ll find a number of posts of that kind.
and your list was pulled from
boycottisraeligoods.org
you say
amazing the way people see what isn’t there
but it clearly was there
it would appear that you enjoy putting the cat among the pigeons
It wasn’t there. You unconsciously inserted it.
And clearly it isn’t too hard to get people jumping to conclusions, is it?
Back on topic now, please. Enough chat.
