More DIY

I was a bit bored and there were loads of jobs waiting in line.

What to do first?

Finish the kitchen?  OK.  I’ll do that soon.

Do the garden? Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!!!!

Look, the old bathroom is a bit scruffy.  There’s no place to store anything, even though I built those shelves last year, but that sink is real waste of space.  What the hell is it with those stupid pedestal units? Gotta go!

As it happened, I have a fair amount of spare timber about the place, and it’s easy enough to re-size it on the table saw, so why not build a unit with shelves and a top for all those little bits and pieces?

I think this will work out.  What do you reckon?

I mean, obviously, I’m not going to leave it at the bottom of the stairs.  I’m not that fucking stupid, ok?

  1. Verrry nice workmanship there Bock!

I need a hand getting my kitchen together. It’s currently 4 bare walls in a fetching shade of light pink, and a bare concrete floor. If you get *really* bored this weekend….. :-)

  2. Thats a really nice piece!

  3. Looking good. Don’t forget holes for pipes etc.

Or future bigger pipes which caught me out recently.

  4. Thank you for this advice. I know it is is kindly intended, and I understand it fully, having many years experience of such work.

  5. Looks very nice! You might post a pic of the finished unit when you’re done with it.

  6. Nice work.

    If you can get it.

  7. You are really inspiring me, been thinking, its very unlikely my younger daughters are ever going to buy a house for themselves, so I have decided to build me a little cabana and move out, give them the house, might you expand on this post ? I fancy building it myself, no not joking.

  8. Good stuff BOCK! Doing the tactile thingys is always satisfying.

    Have a look at this stuff;
