Secondly not supporting Anglo would cost a lot more that the 4 Bill. (perhaps 7 Bill in the end.) since this would trigger the guarantee scheme implemented in Sept 2008 and that could result into a cost of 50 / 60 Bill. In addition letting the bank go bust would destroy Ireland's financial and commercial reputation and this would have desperate results for Ireland in terms of peoples welfare and would bring back mass Irish emigration as in the past due to poverty at home, in order to avoid all of that we must support Anglo together with all the other banks there are no other option. However, "Bock" is right in the way he refers to the bankers, politicians, and regulators who created this mess, and they must be held responsible for this morally and legally, but in the meantime bring Ireland back to its proper financial status.
