shannonrowingclubNext Thursday night, it’s Speakeasy Jazz in Shannon Rowing Club on Sarsfield Bridge.  The venue is a beautiful rowing club, a Victorian building over a hundred years old and full of character.  It lives in the river Shannon and provides the perfect setting to enjoy the music.  Even if you’re not into jazz, go along and admire the original features of this gorgeous old place.

Speakeasy Jazz is a non-profit, cooperative music venture, providing an opportunity for jazz musicians of all sorts to play for music lovers in a relaxed ambience.

The next gig is on Thursday the 11th June, with the David Irwin ensemble.

I guarantee you, if you’re into jazz, you’ll like this.  If you’re a musician interested in playing, contact Niamh: speakeasyjazzlimerick@gmail.com
