This came from the PRO of Bruff RFC.

Do you want a chance to get your hands on a Lions jersey signed by the Captain and some more of the Munster Lions players?

Maybe you’d like a Limerick Football Jersey signed by the whole team?

Perhaps a canvas print of the Famous “MAKA” Munster Haka on that fabulous opening night in Thomond park?

How about a rare piece of the Hallowed Turf from Lansdowne Road before it was demolished?

Maybe Gaelic football or Rugby is not your thing, How about Ruby Walsh’s Britches from last week’s Galway Races, signed of course by Ruby and some more of his opponents last week?

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, these are just some of the sports memorabilia on auction at the Coiscéim Eile Charity do this coming Friday night 7th of August in Bruff RFC pavilion.

With doors opening at 8:00pm and the night kicking off with Cáirde Ceol, following on with a nights mayhem with Jon Kenny and finishing up with a disco until late, this promises to be one "Hell of a gig”.

The object of this night, (if you didn’t already know) is to get as much money together as possible for the Coiscéim Eile Charity.

You might remember this group from their appearance on the “Late Late Show”, this fabulous group of people have come together and through their own hard work have gathered enough money to get a Lokomat Machine to Patrickswell in County Limerick. This machine and can help people with complaints ranging from Partial Paralysis, to stroke victims and others to regain their mobility. However they need to get their hands on at least €150,000 before November, that’s the final instalment needed to keep the machine in the country. It’s one of only two and it has been paid for so far without government money or help from the Health board.

Bruff RFC have pledged their full support to Coiscéim Eile, please come along and lend us yours, you don’t even have to bid, just turn up and have a great night, it won’t cost you an arm or a leg.

Tickets are available from any Player or Committee member and cost just €15.00.

It promises to be a great night.

The Annual Bull N Booze tag rugby blitz is taking place of course the following Saturday 15th of August. Team places are almost fully booked out with only a couple of slots left, so if you haven’t already confirmed your place on the day then you might be out of luck by the time this gets to print. This year’s event of course is bigger and better than ever before, with 2FM broadcasting the Ruth Scott show from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, the 6 nations, Magners league and Triple crown trophies making an appearance, we have the Bucking Bronco Bull as usual and some padded “Gladiator” style Jousting to keep you occupied. Barbecue food, drink, craic and of Course a full day of Adult mixed Tag Rugby. Why not make a day of it and bring the kids over?

Team registration taking place at around 12:00, teams will be contacted this week with final booking arrangements.

Is above the same Limerick team that haven't won a Munster title since around the time Charles Stewart Parnell was poking Kitty O'Shea? – A good cause however, and well worth supporting.
