He won the ninth definately, fired in some good left hooks. But he was very negative for the first eight frames. Lee was using his head for target practice. Overall, a good win but it got a bit hairy near the end.The ref Emile Tiedt, his dad won a silver medal for Ireland in boxing at the 1956 Olympic Games. Delaney won gold in the 1,500m at same Olympiad. Great pics of last night, fair play. I'd say you had more shots than Belgecham -in the opening rounds anyway.

The French guy got a bit more serious in 9 and 10. He landed a couple of good ones on Andy, but I didn't think he was particularly commmitted to the fight.

Good win for Andy, although it got a bit hairy in the ninth and tenth. A 99-92 points verdict speaks for itself however. Lee won eight, drew one and lost one of the ten rounds.
