The antics and attitudes of these self-satisfied craw-thumpers (and, unfortunately, many more thousands like them) put my own principles of tolerance and freedom of thought and expression under severe pressure. I hope that, in the unlikely event that their awaited “rapture” should finally come, their LORD will give them the judgement their ignorance so richly deserves … something lingering, with wailing and gnashing of teeth and all that sort of stuff …

I pity the poor little fucker to have to grow up in that society.
I have reason to know a fair but about Asian Buddhism and it may be a lot of things including self delusional and superstitious but evil it is not. The Buddhists I know are the gentlest people you could come across.

Well, on the one hand they claim to
have the advantage of understanding our host culture’s worldview and their very deep superstitious beliefs. thus, we were not surprised that sterling was given to us with a jade luck charm

Silly superstitious Asians! But wait, on the other hand they

know that this charm is associated with spiritual forces meant to keep people in bondage

So they must destroy it. Silly superstitious Christians! Of course, once again I’m making the classic atheist mistake of appealing to reason. If religious people were reasonable, they wouldn’t be religious.

He also reminds us that
We don’t deserve God’s forgiveness, but He gives it to us when we humble ourselves (something Atheists seem to struggle with…)

Of course this may be true, if by ‘humbling yourself’ you mean crapping on any foreign culture that doesn’t accept Jesus as its personal saviour–oh, how very Christ-like of you.
