Donegal being held to the NAMA REPUBLIC by a sliver of land opts out and declares itself independent and goes into union with Norway. The advantages are to put it mildly tempting. I will in my modest way act as advisor to the Donegal citizenry as to how to gain acess to Norways treasury enriched as it allready is by revunue rightly owned by the Irish. Norways fishing waters will be opened up for Donegal fising and that,s just for starters.

Believe me, us Donegal- dwellers would find this offer massively attractive. We would love to share, as citizens, in the concept the Norwegians perfected, of citizen ownership of the fish and the oil in the sea – we would immediately be wealthy, and be part of a resource management system that works. The only thing our own government has allowed us citizens to own is a giant NAMA Black Hole of debt.
In addition, they have removed all cancer services (what’s left of them after NAMA) utterly beyond our geographical reach. Just read there was an increase of 100 in the number of breast cancer deaths in 2008 over 2007. Expect the Southern-Centres-of-Hexcellence plan to produce an ever higher death toll in coming years, especially in Donegal. Yes, Norway, please, please adopt us.

This means say for example you earn close to €500 and you do some overtime you will be asking not to get paid for it because if you do you will take home less than your normal salary. How ridiculous is that.

Would be fairer to have it incremental – 8% on everything over 500.. not 8% on the lot once you hit 500. But then again what’s fair about the Irish government.
