I remember hearing stay with me while in a taxi and thought it was new so i asked the driver who it was, at the time i hadn’t a clue who the faces were but by the end of the journey i had gotten a history lesson on them. I still can’t believe how fresh that song sounded when i first heard it and was shocked it was rod singing he sound very different.

E.U. law gives all citizens a minimum of 2 years warranty on almost all items purchased these days. Some items can be covered by as much as even 10 years depending on their expected life-cycle. Claims sent to the small claims court will normally be decided on this basis and should be encouraged as these retailers are full of shit. Your contract is with the retailer and not the maker of the item, any warranty they give is in ADDITION to that which you are legally entitled to from the seller. Stores try to stick to the 1 year manufacturers warranty-line so they can sell you a worthless insurance policy that they make big money on, they don’t tell you that you are covered anyway. Any refusal to sort out any problem of this type should be dealt with firmly! – Regards, Paul

Simple fact. 2 nights in a row I took first car at Sarsfield St. rank. Both drivers were black. Both developed finger stutter when they got to the “extras” button. Both brazenly insisted that I pay the inflated fare (I didn’t) even though I’d informed them that I was a taxi driver. Now I skip the cabs with black drivers. Does this mean all black drivers are thieves? NO. Does this make me a racist? NO. I just want to get home without any hassle.

Society , Society , Society .. these words in my head , I remember after A.J was killed , I was met with so much adversity from people .. from society.. I lost ” friends” people telling me that A.J. was a thief , a burglar,
illegal immigrant, and a drug abuser. Their anger and hate broke my heart … because they did not understand his beauty and his special gifts .. they turned to the only thing they knew .. FEAR.

When A.J became ill , he came to my house all the time .. he called me .. confided in me..
sometimes I feel like I abandon him .. by not answering the phone .. or just sitting in my room when I knew
he was knocking on the door .. he needed me.. and because of fear .. fear of his illness , fear of something maybe I knew I was to close to .. ( within myself )
Being different … God .. sometimes I think about all of the beautiful things he would have done ….
this world needed him …
Truly .. he was a angel ..
never forget him ..

Now whats your point about a 60 yr old ? and who is 60 years old ? is it you ? because it isn’t me, if that was a deduction based on information or evidence your computations are wrong.

The police are very highly paid in Ireland by European standards , German police earn a fraction of what they get here. The other week I read in the press the big payouts many got for injuries they received in the line of duty. Recently I saw a notice in Frankfurt airport asking for donations for a young police woman shot dead by armed robbers. The reason is that they do not make big payments for officers killed on duty as the risk is factored in to the nature of the job. As a former Guard told me, about 30% of Guards in Ireland are decent and hard working and the rest are power tripping ignorant fools.

let the worms squirm! a lot of the church’s victims in canada carry a load of hate and shame.many suffer from P.T.S .D. (post truamatic stress disorder), for the rest of their lives.they have gone through a war of attrition and their reward was not a medal but shell shock,not warn with pride but unbearable shame and suffering.do not be fooled.the victims of abuse, non sexual as well,sometimes turn out to be abusers themselves.what they have learned at the hands of vicious sadists when still children,their pent up hurt and anger is taken out on others as they go through life adrift. i have ptsd myself.i am 68 years old and still suffer from flashbacks.i cannot bear anyone to scream in terror,every nerve in my body jumps as i look for the source of the screams and try to run to the rescue.i literally hung from a fire escape platform to scream myself at a pimp who was beating a very small girl.he told me to mind my own business.just as i was to run down the stairs she was rescued.my blood pressure went through the roof.it takes a long time to calm down after trauma.ptsd gives a person panic attacks as well.your heart is racing so hard and fast that it makes you dizzy and you think you are dying.they can be controlled with training, but sneak up on you when least expected.some victims turn to slashing or hitting themselves as hard as possible.that pain takes the other away for a short while.you jump at every little sound if it has been quiet for awhile.people have literally seen both of my feet leave the floor at sudden loud noises.i still do this at my age and live with the stigma from family members.this is one of the hardest things to experience.if they have’nt been there,they don’t understand and most refuse because we can make them jumpy when under stress.if you can’t turn to your famil;y , where do you turn?at times ,factually, your family is harder on you than others. being exposed to .traumatic events in some cases for years will cause this disease.my father brought it with him from wwi in vimy france.the continual cannon booms and flashes from all sides wore him down.he was terrified of thunder and lightning and would shake severely.he drank so much that he was found where he had passed out in a snow bank.he was dead.this disease can be a slow killer and causes suicide as well at times. it is hard to describe how hopeless one feels.it is easy to identify with the irish victims.bless them all. i am also of irish descent on both sides.proud to be.
