Madeleine McCann Investigation Continues

Five years ago, I conducted a running battle on this site with people who wished to smear the good name of Madeleine McCann’s grieving parents, and in the end they had to concede that they had absolutely no basis for suggesting that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the disappearance of their daughter.

kate gerry mccann madeleine mccann

The slurs on the good name of the McCanns emanated largely from the unbelievably incompetent Portuguese police who wished to deflect attention from their bumbling ham-fisted management of the case, until finally they were forced by facts to admit that the McCanns were not suspects.  They tried to frame an innocent man, Robert Murat, and when all else failed, they launched a smear campaign.

It continues.

Today, as British police announce that they want to interview certain suspects, a new crop of trolls appear on social media, spreading all sorts of defamatory lies about the McCanns, such as the claim that they waited 72 hours before reporting the disappearance.

This is an utter fabrication, but it prompts the question: who benefits from such lies?  There can only be two beneficiaries.  The perpetrators of the crime, and the Portuguese police.  Since it’s unlikely that the kidnappers have any interest in going public, the field narrows down to one suspect — the incredibly incompetent police who handled this case.

I sincerely hope that Kate and Gerry McCann pursue the authors of these lies through the courts for defamation.  It’s perfectly possible to do so these days, and they’ve suffered enough without being subjected to such a nasty, evil agenda.

McCanns No Longer Suspects

I’ve been saying from the beginning that there was nothing to justify the media crucifixion of the McCanns, and now, at last, the Portuguese Attorney-general, Fernando Jose Pinto Monteiro has confirmed that the police investigation revealed no evidence of a crime by any of the suspects.

No evidence at all.

How clear can I make this?  There is no evidence at all that the McCanns were involved in the disappearance of their child.

So, to all the evil-minded people who had no information whatever, yet who still put their stupid, ill-informed certainties all over the internet, I offer a big Fuck You!

And to the incompetent, corrupt, half-witted Portuguese police who leaked all kinds of vile, unfounded innuendo against the McCanns, I also offer a big Fuck You!

And finally, to the British press who lapped up the filth and vomited it back in newsprint, I offer nothing.

These hyenas have no morals, no ethics and no feelings.  Why waste energy on them?

Madeleine McCann Fiasco: Robert Murat Wins Damages From Newspapers

The scandal goes on.

You’ll remember I wrote extensively about this disgraceful story when the frenzy was at its height.  After behaving like absolute swine, the British press were eventually forced to print front-page apologies to Kate and Gerry McCann for printing lies about them.

Now they’ve been forced to apologise to another of their victims and to pay him £600,000 in compensation.  Robert Murat was vilified and libelled by the papers.  His life was destroyed.  He was turned into a figure of hatred by the media hyenas who trailed him everywhere he went and made his days and nights into a hell.

They imprisoned him in his house and tried to convince the world that he was responsible for Madeleine’s disappearance, when in reality he had nothing whatever to do with it.

All that Robert Murat did was try and help the investigation by translating for the police.  That was when a fool of a reporter from the Sunday Mirror, Lori Campbell, reported Murat to the police because she thought he was creepy.  The thundering idiot.

These are the kind of cretins who work for the major papers and TV stations.  Talking heads without a brain between them, who trade in suspicion and ignorance to destroy the lives of innocent people.

Scum.

Madeleine McCann — Portuguese Police Give Up

It’s over.

After all the character assassination, and all the innuendo, and all the leaks to the papers, and all the intimidation, and all the vicious smears, and all the gobshites on all the chattering websites telling you the McCanns did it, guess what?

The Portuguese police have run out of ways to blacken their name.

They’ve given up.

Do you remember all the people who were so certain the McCanns killed their daughter, even though they had not a single piece of evidence to support their filthy little imaginings?  No evidence at all, except whatever some Portuguese policeman slipped to the papers when he needed to take the heat off himself.

And the hounds ran with it.  The hounds all over the world took up the howl, including the dogs here in Ireland, and they vented their righteous superiority on a poor bereft couple who’ll never be well again.

These self-righteous fuckers, many of whom were acne-pocked teenagers on comment boards, arseholes who never raised a puppy, never mind a family, had the audacity to think they were better than the adults they condemned.  They pointed their drunken self-righteous fingers of inexperience at the McCanns, and drew pleasure from their guilty little self-righteous orgasms.

The pricks.

But it wasn’t only arsehole post-pubescents.  The British Press got itself into a frenzy of condemnation.  Wait!  What did I say?  Not arsehole post-pubescents?  I take that back.  After all, we were talking about the British Press, weren’t we?

The gobshites had to apologise though, and painfully too, I’m glad to say.

So now, it’s the endgame.  The lowlife British Press can withdraw into its hole to wait for its next victim.  The disgraceful Portuguese police can contemplate its own cynical inadequacies and the post-pubescent acne-pocked gobshites can go back to what they do best: wanking.

Meanwhile, perhaps the McCanns can finally find the space to begin accepting that their little girl is gone forever.

Madeleine McCann: British Press Apologises At Last

British papers the Daily Express and Star have finally published front-page apologies acknowledging that the parents of Madeleine McCann had nothing to do with the child’s disappearance.

Do you remember reading about this here? I was attacked by some people for having the temerity to suggest that the McCanns were innocent, having been convicted by the court of ignorant public opinion, and I’m glad that the pigs of the worst press in the world have had to grovel.

But it wasn’t only in the gutter press that drunken fools flung groundless accusations at the McCanns.

The internet was worse, with the most retarded troglodytes flinging accusations at these bereaved parents. All you need to do is look at some of the comments in the Bock posts I’ve linked to at the end of this.

These vile accusations were thrown without the slightest evidence that the McCanns were guilty of anything except being bereaved and heartbroken.

You know what I find hard to stomach?  The Daily Express and the Star would happily refer to other people as scum.

Sorry

The Daily Star today makes a wholehearted apology to Kate and Gerry McCann for stories suggesting the couple were responsible for, or may be responsible for, the death of their daughter Madeleine and for covering it up.

We now recognise that such a suggestion is absolutely untrue and that Kate and Gerry are completely innocent of any involvement in their daughter’s disappearance.

Express

Kate and Gerry McCann: Sorry

The Daily Express today takes the unprecedented step of making a front-page apology to Kate and Gerry McCann.

We do so because we accept that a number of articles in the newspaper have suggested that the couple caused the death of their missing daughter Madeleine and then covered it up.

We acknowledge that there is no evidence whatsoever to support this theory and that Kate and Gerry are completely innocent of any involvement in their daughter’s disappearance.

We trust that the suspicion that has clouded their lives for many months will soon be lifted.

McCanns Not Suspects, Say Portuguese Police

What?

After all the torture they put them through, the Portuguese police are now saying the McCanns should never have been named as suspects?

What?

After all the self-satisfied, smug, holier-than-thou pricks who pointed fingers at the McCanns, these motherfuckers are now rowing back. Now they’re admitting that the fat, incompetent idiot bastard cops investigating the case were actually just slinging mud because they were too fucking corrupt and incompetent to solve the case.

What??

Can you believe that?

Can you believe that these fuckers, who tried to blacken the reputation of the parents, are able to just walk away from their calumny, even though the McCanns’ good names are now damaged in the eyes of so many people? Even though there was fuck-all evidence to support the sort of innuendo flung at them?

I wrote about this several times already. Go read it HERE.

Then read it HERE.

And when you’re finished, read it HERE.

Read it, I urge you, and be angry.

Be very fucking angry.

Portuguese Police Get Sense at Last

I see that fat fuck, Goncalo Amaral, was finally sacked from the McCann case. This serial abuser, who would rather torture the McCanns than do any real work, has finally stepped over the line by accusing them of manipulating the British police.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I wrote about this fucker a little while back, here, and I’m glad to see that common sense is finally beginning to prevail. Even in Portugal, it seems, there’s a limit to the level of police incompetence they can tolerate.

Maybe now, after the body-in-the-fridge slur, and the body-under-the-church theory and all the rest of it, we might see a slackening off of the holier-than-thou brigade. You know, the people who never once in their lives made a mistake raising their children, because they’re so fucking perfect, unlike the rest of us. Not to mention those people, barely out of their teens, who never once in their lives had to take responsibility for anything, never mind raise a child, but who nevertheless flooded the message-boards with self-righteous condemnation of two people who must be going through hell because of their negligence.

They make me fucking sick, these fools who were so quick to point fingers at the parents of this poor child.

I don’t care if the McCanns were negligent. It doesn’t matter: nothing that the Moral Majority can do to them will compare with what they must be doing to themselves.

But I’m still glad that fat fuck Amaral is off the case, not that he spent much time on it anyway. By all accounts, when he wasn’t stuffing his fat fuck face with face-fattening chocolate fuckers, he was at home asleep, dreaming up insane things to accuse the McCanns of, as a substitute for doing any actual detective work. (That, of course, is when he wasn’t beating the shit out of suspects in other cases, it seems).

Good man, Goncalo. Our kind of policeman. He’s the ideal man to investigate the deaths of Diana and Dodi, and I have the very suspect for him.

Portuguese Police, Arguidos and the McCanns

Much was made during the week about Kate and Gerry McCann being named as arguidos, or official suspects.

Before that, you might recall, the Portuguese police declared a totally innocent man, Robert Murat to be an arguido, on the clever policing insight that he’s separated and has a daughter of his own back in England, and therefore more than likely kidnapped Madeleine. Obviously.

But guess who else is an arguido? Well, that would be Mr Goncalo Amaral, a senior policeman working on the McCann case, who is also an arguido as are four of his colleagues. Or, to be more precise, he was an arguido, but now that he’s been charged, he’s gone beyond that.

They just love their arguidos over there in Portugal. Policing, you see, in a country like Portugal, isn’t quite the same as policing here, in spite of all I’ve said about our cops. The reason? Well, Portugal was a military dictatorship until about thirty years ago, and you would never want to forget that. The people at the top of the Portuguese police are the same people who served as base-level policemen under the Junta, and police-state practices don’t disappear overnight. Thirty years is but an eyeblink in the life of a nation.

Here’s Mr Amaral.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The case he’s being investigated for involves the disappearance of a child in 2004, seven miles from Praia da Luz where Madeleine went missing. The missing girl’s mother, Leonor Cipriano was questioned by Mr Amaral and his colleagues about the abduction of her daughter, and in this case, the police saw no need to have a lawyer present during the interrogation.

The interview went well and Ms Cipriano confessed under the inescapable logic and forensic questioning of these fine officers. Clearly, since Ms Cipriano was a local person, and without much money, they felt they could be a little more direct with their questioning.

Here’s Ms Cipriano after the interview:

Now Portuguese law, as we’ve all been assured over the past few months, is very exact and precise, but also very, very fair. This is why it was possible to convict Ms Cipriano of murder, though no body was found, and at the same time to charge Mr Amaral and his four colleagues variously with torture, omission of evidence and falsification of evidence.

Isn’t that good? Wouldn’t you have great faith in such people and such a system?

Wouldn’t you believe every word they leak to the the press about the McCanns?

Of course you would.

Pope Pays Price for Hearing McCanns’ Confession

They’ve arrested the Pope, muttered Gonad the Ballbearian.

What’s that?  I looked up from my escritoire and removed my meerschaum.  The devil you say!

The Pope, he said.  You know.  Busy chap in Rome.  Tall hat, curly slippers.  Former head of the Inquisition.  German chap, if memory serves.

Good God, man, I know who the Pope is.  Who arrested him?

Gonad shifted slightly on his chaise longue and sipped another drop of laudanum.  This is becoming tiresomeI’m going to write a sonnet.

My dear Gonad, I entreated, please, I pray you: tell me who apprehended his Holiness and why.

Oh, said Gonad, it was the Portuguese police or some such foreign Johnnies.

The what?  I started back, aghast.

Yes.  Under Portuguese law, it seems, a policeman’s theory is always right.  They’re obliged to make all the facts in the world fit in with it.

What has that to do with the Pope?

Well, continued Gonad, languidly, it seems the Pope may have met certain English people and heard their confession.  Portugal has declared war on the Vatican.  They sent in a team of special forces, they’ve abducted the Pope and even now, as we speak, they have him under guard at the high-security Shrine of Fatima in Portugal.

I could hardly believe my ears.  I say, Gonad, pass me that bottle of laudanum, there’s a good chap.

Yes indeed, mused Gonad.  I believe they’re beating the confession out of him as we speak.  Portuguese law is very strict, you know, on doing things correctly.

Madeleine McCann

I wasn’t going to write about this. I just wasn’t because it doesn’t bear thinking about, but in the last few days the whole thing has become insane, and you know what’s really pissing me off? All the self-righteous experts over here, nudging and winking, passing judgement on the McCanns, with absolutely no information whatever to go on. Not that ignorance ever stopped a lynch-mob.

How do I know they have no information? Because the Portuguese police seem to have no information either. What’s going on over there in Portugal? I can’t figure it out. Do you know what’s going on, and if so, would you mind telling me?

What are the police saying? That Kate McCann killed the little girl?

Oh right. So they were out at dinner, when suddenly Gerry McCann, slaps his forehead. Shit! I forgot to murder the child before we went out.

Don’t worry, Love, soothes Kate. I’ll nip back to the apartment now and do her in while you’re finishing your dinner.

I feel such a fool, says Gerry.

Don’t worry about it, chuckles Kate. I’ll be back in a jiffy.

What?

Scenario One: The child was abducted. This has not been ruled out.

Scenario Two: The child was accidentally killed in the apartment. OK. Why would they even try to hide it? Why would they go through this charade of having dinner with their friends?

Scenario Three: The child was murdered. by the McCanns. That makes no sense at all to me. Parents take their three children on a family holiday to a popular Algarve resort, but change their mind and murder one of them.

The cameras of the entire world have been pointed at these people since the child went missing. I find it very hard to believe that anyone could so thoroughly dispose of a body in such a short time that the following gigantic search failed to find it.

The latest innuendo concerns an allegation that traces of blood were found in a car the McCanns hired twenty five days after the little girl disappeared. Oh well there you have it then. They’re guilty!

Eh, no. Not quite.

First, we don’t know how the samples were collected, or how the chain of evidence was protected. We also don’t know whether the parents’ clothing was already contaminated with blood from some innocuous nosebleed or the like. And finally, Portimao is not a big place. It is not beyond the bounds of coincidence that the McCanns might have hired a car previously used by an abductor. It would be an appalling irony if this turned out to be true, but it’s far from impossible.

However, this is straying dangerously close to rigorous thinking and, of course, logic is the last thing that scandal-mongers and finger-pointers want, because it spoils their fun.

I don’t know if the McCanns killed their child. I hope they didn’t but I don’t know yet. Just like the self-righteous finger-pointers don’t know while they beat their breasts and tut-tut at the McCanns for being bad parents.

It must be great to be perfect.
